The New York Daily News reported that the town of Kerikeri is "New Zealand's zesty gourmet getaway" becuase of all the locally producted they also reported "Local chefs are especially creative in a place where fusion is king and local products are the norm. Artisanal food producers are proliferating throughout the countryside. And boutique vineyards are gaining attention." So it sounds like on very taste place to visit.
