Auckland Queen Street runs from Karangahape Rd (K Rd) down the hill and to the waterfront at the base. Check out the waterfront area including the Maritime Musuem. The waterfront is also the point from which you can catch a short ferry ride across to Devonport, or a longer trip to Waiheke Island, the more remote Great Barrier Island or one of the many small islands which dot the Waitemata Harbour. |
