King Island has some of the best dairy and beef products in the world, which you can cook and savour in your cabin or eat out in the centre of Currie, the town. The weather is warmer than you think - not as hot as Melbourne in the summer or as cold as Melbourne in the winter.

Three studio cabins have open plan sleeping, sitting and kitchen spaces. Each has a queen sized bed plus a double sofa bed and trundle bed (sleeps up to 5). Two larger cabins have a generous living area, full kitchen, master bedroom, plus an upstairs bedroom (sleeps 8). One cabin has full disabled facilities. Each cabin has its own outdoor bath under the stars.

The tipis are not quite luxury cabin, not quite camping. They are carpeted and include a double pull out bed, wood heater, solar electric lights and a covered deck.

Campervan and walk-in tent sites are each sited separately to give a good degree of privacy. The showers and toilets are modern and comfortable. The camp kitchen offers gas oven, hotplates and barbecue, hot water and tables.

On site 2 minute wheelchair accessible lookout, half hour bushwalk through 60 metre tall 300 year old oldgrowth forest. More challenging options also exist for the fit and experienced outdoors enthusiast
